Planning aid only. Each square labels a calendar day in an illustrative pattern. It does not set changeover times, calculate overnight care, include holiday exceptions or change an existing arrangement. Check dates and the arrangements that apply to you. This is not legal advice or a recommended parenting arrangement.
How the patterns work
Alternating weeks: seven days labelled for the starting home, then seven for the other home. The two-week pattern repeats.
2-2-3: two days for the starting home, two for the other, then three for the starting home. The homes reverse for the next seven days. A four-week preview repeats that two-week cycle twice.
The selected start date is the first day of the rotation. Column headings show its actual weekday, so a Wednesday start produces Wednesday-to-Tuesday rows. The example is a way to see a pattern, rather than advice about which pattern to choose.
